Argentine Residence – Immigration

Young Football Players in Argentina

Argentina is one of the world's leading destinations for young athletes seeking to develop their football careers.
We assist families from around the globe with visas, residency permits, Argentine ID cards (DNI), travel authorizations, legal guardianship arrangements, medical coverage, and all other requirements necessary for minors to train, study, and become eligible to play under the regulations of the Argentine Football Association (AFA).
When parents reside abroad, we also provide guidance on the legal alternatives available to ensure that the child is properly protected and supervised throughout their stay in Argentina.
Our services are designed to help young athletes pursue their sporting and educational goals in Argentina while ensuring full compliance with Argentine immigration, family, and sports regulations.

foto migracionesWe assist individuals and families seeking to establish themselves in Argentina through:

• Temporary and  permanent residence
• Residence by investment
• Residence for work, studies, or family ties
• Athletes and sports professionals
• Citizenship and naturalization processes

Our work includes a full analysis of eligibility requirements, timelines, risks, and documentation. No improvisation. No false promises.

Citizenship is no longer what it used to be.  Key changes in Argentine immigration law (Executive Decree DNU 366/2025).

Stricter entry and stay rules

Continuous residence is now the rule, not the exception.
To apply for Argentine citizenship, the law now requires two full years of legal and uninterrupted residence without leaving the country. Exit Argentina even once, and the clock resets to zero. A sharp turn from the previously flexible judicial criteria.

Investment as an alternative path

A new route to citizenship has been introduced through “relevant investment,” currently estimated at approximately USD 500,000.
This option waives the traditional residence requirement but is subject to economic evaluation and approval by the Ministry of Economy. It is not automatic, not political, and certainly not symbolic money.

Naturalization outside the courts

Until now, Argentine citizenship was requested through the courts.
Under the reform, the process begins before the National Immigration Authority (DNM) and is handled digitally as an administrative procedure. Faster in theory, stricter in practice.

Why this matters (and why advice is critical); Argentina still offers one of the most attractive combinations worldwide: residency, quality of life, strategic mobility, and citizenship. But the rules have changed. Timing, planning, and legal strategy now make the difference between success and starting over.
At quaini.com, we don’t sell shortcuts. We design legal paths that work.
